FAQ
Questions we get asked
Who is WorkhorseOS for?
Trade contractors with crews in the field — subs, retail contractors who work for homeowners, and contractors who do production-builder work. Many of our users do all three.
How is it priced?
Per company, with unlimited users: Crew $59 a month, Pro $249 a month, Builder $449 a month — or $49, $209 and $379 a month billed annually. See pricing.
Can I sign up online?
Not yet. We set up every new company ourselves, after a short demo. Book a demo or join the waitlist and we will be in touch.
Do my crews see prices?
No — not unless you allow it. Seeing prices and totals is a permission you give per person. Crews see the job, the address, the scope of work, the photos and the job chat.
Does it sync with builder portals?
Builder portal sync (NVR, SupplyPro, MarkSystems) is coming soon for new companies. Today the Builder plan gives you builder price lists, draw splits and subdivision specs, with each lot as its own job under the builder.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. The crew app runs in the phone's browser and installs to the home screen — there is nothing to download from an app store.
Does it connect to QuickBooks?
QuickBooks Online sync is coming soon. It is not available yet.
Does it work with ADP?
Yes — approved hours export as a file for ADP RUN.
Is it in Spanish?
This website is in Spanish — choose Español at the top or bottom of any page. The app in Spanish is coming soon. It is not available yet.
Do you have a portal for my subs?
A sub portal is coming soon. Today your subs open and accept each purchase order by link, with no login.
How do promo codes work?
Enter the code with your demo or waitlist request. It is saved with your request and applied when your company is approved.
Is my company's data kept separate?
Yes. Every company's data is walled off from every other company's at the database level.
Who builds it?
A working contractor. WorkhorseOS runs a contracting company with its own crews, subs and builder work every day.
